OFF STAGE: “They’re Burning all the witches. Even if you aren’t one.”

"Gathered with a coven, around a sorceress' table."
"Gathered with a coven, around a sorceress' table."

I was raised to pray with my hands folded, eyes closed, and guilt looming over every breath.

Somewhere along the way.. I learned to pray barefoot in the grass, baptize my emotions in the ocean, whisper to the sky.. asking for clarity without shame. In any form I see fit.

I believe in a god. Maybe many, maybe the same one as you. Maybe biblically accurate, maybe a goddess of the moon. I’ve read the Bible. I’ve studied astrology. I believe in Source. In something bigger than me, that doesn’t demand performance to offer love. Yet, I’ve never felt that truth inside a building with rules. I have felt it on riverbanks. Under moonlight. And, in moments that didn’t need permission. I see the repeating patterns gently woven in ALL religions, throughout history. At the end of the day, we all believe in something. We all have the right to speak on whatever that may be. I have friends and family from all walks of faith, they teach me everyday.

My spirituality doesn’t follow certain doctrine, it follows rhythm. I track moon phases & astrology. Not because I think they control my life.. but, because they remind me of my own cycles. I pull tarot & oracle cards. Not to predict the future.. but, to check in with the present. I cleanse my space the way others change their sheets.. because, energy lingers.

It’s not about insane spells or aesthetics.

It’s about awareness. Alignment. Soft structure.

It’s about knowing when to rest and when to rise.

I don’t need anyone to believe what I believe.

But I won’t keep quiet about how much peace it brings me, either.

What’s Next:

I’ll be sharing more voices that walk this same kind of path.. seasonal, spiritual, soul led.

The ones who read tarot by candlelight and still believe in science.

The ones who pray in their own language.

The ones who know that listening is a sacred act.

The ones who work with the elements at hand.
